Gov Sani-Bello Reshuffles Cabinet ... Swears-In New Commissioners

Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abuibakar Sani-Bello on Wednesday
announced a minor cabinet reshuffle.

The Governor announced this shortly after swearing–in of  3
commissioners during the weekly state executive council meeting in
Minna

According to a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Hon.Ibrahim Isah Ladan the Commissioners sworn in were Hon. Zakari Jinkatoro, Hajiya Ramatu
Yar’adua and Hon. Samaila Ibrahim.

The trio were members of Niger State Executive Council that contested for
elective offices in the last primary elections of All Progressives
Congress in the state.

Under the new arrangement, Engr. Ibrahim Panti, who was Commissioner for Transport is moved to Ministry of Mineral Resources, Commissioner for Works, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe now in charge of the Ministry of Local Government, Community Development and Chieftancy Affairs.

Hajiya Ramatu Yar’adua will now function as Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Zakari Halidu Jinkatoro who was formerly in charge of Ministry of Local Government would preside over activities of Ministry of Works and Infrastructural Development, while Hon. Samaila Ibrahim retained his office as the Commissioner for Youth Development.
