Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani-Bello has approved the extension of the appointment of the State Head of Service, Yabagi Alhaji Sule, til May 29, 2019.
The Governor, who acted on the powers conferred on him by the 1999 Constitution (as amended), said the extension was in recognition of Alhaji Yabagi immense contributions, handwork, dedication and impeccable character exhibited over the years.
Governor Sani-Bello urged the Head of Service to justify the confidence reposed in him by working assiduously in the actualization of the policy direction of the administration.
" You are already conversant with the policy direction of this administration towards improving the quality and professionalism of Civil Servants in the state, you must work hard to ensure that the policy as well as government-labour relations is sustained".the Governor said.
Governor Sani-Bello then congratulated the Head of Service and prayed Allah to guide and give him the courage to discharge his duties above board and without fear or favour.
