The Executive Governor of Adamawa State,Sen.Jibrilla Bindow,has been commended for pragmatic steps toward placing the State on a higher developmental pedestals.This was said when prominent sons and daughters of Hong Local Government paid a courtesy visit on Governor Jibrilla Bindow in Yola,the state capital.Gen Haldu Hananiya (rtd) who led the delegation in their thousands said they remember with trepidation the decayed infrastructure the Governor inherited when he came into office.He however emphasised that the electorate had never regretted voting Sen Bindow,because his development strides were tangible evidence of his love for the people, predicated on visionary leadership.Gen Hananiya and other prominent leaders who spoke were full of praises for the projects Senator Bindow has executed in just 24 months.The visitors took turn to thank the Governor over the appointment of Dr Luwis Mandamas as the new head of Service,describing the choice as a step in the right direction.In his response Governor Bindow said God is the ultimate giver of life and what it entails.He reiterated his unwavering commitment to remain focus on the quest for the provision of dividends of good governance to the people in the state.Sen Muhammad Jibrilla Bindow had earlier played host to a delegation from the World Council Of Churches, led by Arch Bishop Dr Gibson Lesmore.They were in Adamawa state on a peace and justice mission.
The team told the Governor that they were proud of the synergy Adamawa state has with the Nigerian military and in the effort to resettle IDPs
