Niger State Governor,Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello on Wednesday,paid condolence visit on Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullah Ganduje and family of late Danmasani Kano, Alhaji Maitama Sule.The visit of Governor Sani Bello coincided with that of Former president Olusegun Obasanjo and Governor Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa state . Alhaji Sani Bello who had earlier condoled Kano State Government, its people,Kano Emirate, Danmasani's family and the nation at large, in a press statement; re-echoed his view on the demise of the elder statesman thus "Alhaji Maitama Sule, Danmasani Kano was a nationalist to the core who consistently spoke on, and fought for unity, peace and progress of Nigeria."" "The people and government of Niger State received the news with great shock.We are in Kano commiserate with you and to express our deepest sympathy to our brothers and sisters in Kano and the country at large. Indeed, we are greatly pained by demise of this national icon, a man of high political pedigree, and a global orator in national and international socioeconomic issues".the Governor added.Other personalities at Kano State Government House and Maitama Sule's House during Governor Sani Bello's visit, include former President of the Appeal Court, Justice Mamman Nasir,Former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Alooma Muktar, former Governor of Adamawa state, Admiral Murtala Nyako,former Governor of Kano state, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, Amb. Hassan Adamu Wakili Adamawa, Governor ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe state, Former Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Salihu Ibrahim, former INEC Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega and former Governor of Kaduna state, Ramadan Yero among others. Governor Sani Bello was accompanied on the visit by his Chief of Staff, Hon Mikhail Bmitosahi, Commissioner of Finance, Alh. Ibrahim Balarabe and others associates.
