The Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University's Chapter of Hausa-Fulani Students Association, HAFUSA early yesterday Thursday, 15 June, 2017 conferred on young Mansur Waziri popularly known as Wazirin-Gobe the first honorary chieftain title of TAURARON HAFUSA (SHINING STAR of HAFUSA).The development was contained in an official appointment letter signed by the association's JAGABA, Abbas Ahmed Tijjani in Lapai where Waziri was described as a fertile soil carrying a fruitful tree of progress.Conferring the title on Wazirin-Gobe, the council noted with satisfaction that, the conferment was in recognition of Wazirin-Gobe’s painstaking, relentless and uncompromising efforts towards developmental community services and positive social engagements and his advocacy for the productivity of young people in and outside the walls of Kontagora.HAFUSA believes Wazirin-Gobe is a true Kontagorian son destined for nothing but greatness, adding that, they consider him a tree with branches of nothing but illustriousness, prominence and eminence which is why Waziri is the first to be conferred with the chieftaincy title since establishment of the University and Association.
#1PENKAWAI gathered that, date for the turbaning ceremony has not been fixed, but HAFUSA sources disclosed that, the ceremony will be held immediately after FASTING. Acknowledging and Congratulating Wazirin-Gobe's appointment, a prominent Kontagorian who spoke under the condition of anonymity told #1PENKAWAI that "i am approaching my late 70s by age, but I will tell you this, it is great and amazing to see very young Kontagorians doing incredible things, achieving feats of honour, I am greateful to Almighty Allah for keeping me alive to witness such from our sons, daughters and grandchildren" Alhamdullillah he stressed smiling.Concluding, the anonymous personality noted that Wazirin-Gobe is a son of greatness and will of Almighty Allah. Continuing, the elder said, Almighty Allah is, has and will continue been very gracious to Wazirin-Gobe while praying that, no evil or wicked plot and intention fashioned against young Waziri will prosper.
