Heavily armed robbers stormed two commercial banks on Bowen university campus Iwo, Osun State on Tuesday afternoon, killing two police officers in the process.An eye witness said the gunmen robbed First Bank and Skye Bank branches frequented by students and staff of Bowen University, looted undisclosed amount from the banks.The bank robbers killed two police officers before fleeing with their stolen cash.it was gathered that men of the Nigeria Police force pursued the gunmen, but were unable to catch them and only found two vehicles abandoned by the gunmen The armed robbers are still at large. The incident has caused panic in the university community and among residents of Iwo town. .
