Flyingdove Institute of Information Technology,Abuja To Start FUT Minna Degree Programs In September

The Senate of Federal University of Technology,Minna has approved the request of Flyingdove Institute of Information Technology(FIIT) ,Abuja to run its degree Programmes, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Musbau Adewumi Akanji made this known during the signing of Memorandum of Understanding between the management of FIIT ,Abuja and the University last week Friday in Minna, Niger state.Prof.Akanji said the purpose of the MOU was to allow FIIT, Abuja to run some of the University degree programs and also avail Nigerian youths who are seeking admission to the Federal University of Technology Minna to be admitted into FIIT, Abuja.While commending the management of Flyingdove Institute of Information Technology for their contributions towards development of education in Nigeria, The Vice Chancellor reassured management of Flyingdove Institute ,the support of the University.In his remark, the Chairman Governing Council of FIIT,Abuja, Alhaji Yussuf Oriyomi thanked the Vice Chancellor and his team for the approval, he promised that Council, management and staff of the Institute would uphold the integrity of the University.The Rector of the institute ,Dr. Dhakiroh Animashaun Oriyomi expressed delight over the  approval, she thanked the management of Federal University of Technology, Minna and FIIT management team for the success of the event.The occasion was witnessed by the top management staff of Federal University of Technology,Minna led by Vice Chancellor,Prof. Musbau Adewumi Akanji while the FIIT, Abuja  had Dr.Dhakiroh Animashaun Oriyomi (Rector) Dr. Caleb Oshamo(Deputy Rector ) Mr.Lamidi Adeyemi ( Registrar) Mrs Shekinat Omokanye (Director of Academic) Mr. Babalola Lukman Laleye (Ag. Liberian)Flyingdove Institute of Information Technology, Abuja team was led by the Chairman Governing Council of the Institute, Alhaji Yussuf Oriyomi. Flyingdove Institute of Information Technology  established 10 years ago, is one of the private innovative institutes  in Abuja, the Institute is currently running Diploma courses in Information Technology,Engineering and  Management Science.The Rector of the FIIT said Flyingdove  has what it takes to run various degree course on its campus.
