RECESSION:MURIC Calls for Subsidy On Food Items


The Abuja branch of Muslim Rights Concern(MURIC)Ustaz Yunus Salaudeen has appealed the Federal Government as a matter of emergency to stimulate  palliative measures via various ministry to establish centres where Nigerians can purchase at cheaper prices, subsidize grains and other staple food to cushion the effects of economic recession of the citizenry

He also urge federal government to design Social Investment Programmes that can have impact directly on the lives of Nigerian.

Salaudeen enjoined social media users to use the platform to attract government attention to people's plights and do away with irrelevant issues on the social network.

"Our attention and focus on social media should drive home something significant in the life of poor Nigerian, shifting from all sort of inrelevant media 'hype' to the real issue of hunger in our beloved Nation.""he stated

May Allah touch the minds of our  leaders to lead us right to the promised land of comfort and also make us an obedient citizen in the face of numerous trials,he prayed.
