Niger state Governor,Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has commiserated with Sarkin Sudan Kontagora,Alhaji Saidu Namaska and entire Kontagora Emirate over the demise of the Sardauna of Kontagora,Alhaji Ibrahim Bello.The Governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, described Late Alhaji Ibrahim Bello as an institution of knowledge and wisdom who will be greatly missed by Nagwamatse dynasty,the entire emirate, the state, and Nigeria as a whole.He said the Late Sardauna of Kontagora lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation, adding that Kontagora Emirate would miss his wise counsels."Alhaji Bello,the Sardauna of Kontagora will greatly be missed by Kontagora Emirate as well as the state.We will miss his counseling and words of wisdom in the emirate and at the state level." Sani Bello said.
"He has lived a life worthy of emulation and I urge all the title holders in the emirate to emulate him.""We sympathize and condole with the family and the emirate and I pray Allah grant him Aljana Firdausi"He prayed.The Late Sardaunan Kontagora ,Alhaji Ibrahim Bello was born on the 2nd of April 1939 in Kontagora.He started his civil service career on1st January 1958 as a school teacher, Headmaster, and later education officer.Alhaji Bello was also a principal revenue officer,He became Sardauna Kontagora on the 26th April,1985 and later the District Head of Angwan Gabas.He survived by 27 Children and 72 grandchildren.The late Sardaunan Kontagora who died on 24th July, 2017 has since been buried according to Islamic rite
