The first edition of the Joint Admission Matriculation Board(JAMB) sponsored tertiary institutions football competition will hold between July 23rd and July 30th in Ilorin.,Kwara .The Kwara state Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Kale Ayo,stated this one on Tuesday while addressing newsmen in the state capital.
He said the examination body had
approved a sum 25 million to sponsor the competition. Ayo, who is the Chairman, main organising committee for the competition said
participants would be drawn from those who excelled in NUGA, NIPOGA, COEGA and Innovative Entrepreneur Institutions Tournaments.
He commended the Jamb registrar, Professor Is-haq Oloyede, for
allowing the examination body to collaborate with the Kwara state Government for the
sponsorship of the annual football
championship
