International Consultant, FADAMA III Additional Financing, Prof. Bola Okuneye, has said that Nigeria would begin exportation of rice in the next five years.
Okuneye spoke on Wednesday at Amanuke, Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra, when the FADAMA III Additional Financing team visited its rice farmland to ascertain level of progress at the site.
He said, “I have carefully studied the development and I am convinced that with what I have seen, Nigeria will compete among other nations of the world in rice production".
Okuneye, has said that Nigeria would begin exportation of rice in the next five years.
