An Abuja based actress, Tawakalitu Abdulganiyu has emerged as winner of 2016 Omidan Asa beauty Pageant organized by Association of Nigeria theatre arts Practitioners (ANTP)suleja, Abuja chapter.while announcing the winner,the chairman of the screening committee Mustapha Bello Yusuf said the beauty contest was organised to promote cultural and ethical values of yoruba race.he urged the winner to use the platform to promote ethical and moral values of yoruba race
The award was presented to the winner by an Abuja based Fuji musician, Alh Tunde Alao Simangari.
The Omidan Asa beauty contest is part of activities marking this year Asa Day organised by ANTP suleja.
